6.2.2 Insulation resistance on class II appliances
For class II appliances and non-earthed parts of safety class I appliances insulation
resistance is measured between short-circuited mains terminals in the appliance mains
plug and external conductive parts, which can be contacted with the test probe.

6.2.3 How to perform single insulation resistance measurement
Select
Insulation

Single test menu
by using and cursor keys and press
ENTER key to confirm.

Insulation menu
Measurement parameters are detailed in the lower left corner of the display. The
following parameters can be adjusted in this measurement:
test voltage,
low limit resistance value, and
measurement duration.
Use and cursor keys to select the parameter you want to edit. Use and cursor
keys to adjust the selected parameter.
Press START key to perform measurement.
Examples of insulation resistance measurement results
The measurement can be aborted by pressing START key at any time.
