Configuring the Analyzer Control Functions
Output Signal Assignment (OSA)
Outputs (parameters) are calculated by the analyzer. Each result can be
one of two output types:
• Instantaneous
This output tracks the analyzer response during an Auto-Zero or
Auto-Span sequence.
• Track-and-Hold
This output records the concentration value that was calculated just
before an Auto-Zero/Auto-Span was initiated. It retains this value for
the duration of the Auto-Zero/Auto-Span and the Sample Delay Time.
The parameter can be assigned to any of the four output channels and,
optionally, the User Interface. The assignment is made by displaying the
output number and assigning it a numeric code (Figure 4-4).
An undefined result code will default to a primary code, using the
last digit that was entered. For example, a code of 83 will default to a
primary code of 3.
