HOW TO USE THE DIVE LIGHT
General
- After each dive, rinse the dive lamp under running water to remove all
traces of sand and salt.
Charging the battery pack
Turn the screw on the back side of the lamp to the left. Securely insert the charger plug
into the charging socket on the back of the dive light (see fig.) Then connect the charger
to a 220 Volt power outlet. The LED indicator will turn red.
Before the first use, the battery pack on the inside of the dive light must be
charged completely. Please wait until the LED light on the back of the
dive light starts flashing green before you disconnect the charger,
this will extend the life span of the battery pack.
The charger is suitable for power outlets between 100-240 Volts.
The charger is fitted with a Delta-V charge controller, when
the battery pack is fully charged, the charger will automatically
switch over to trickle charging (LED burns green).
When the battery pack is fully charged, first
disconnect the power supply cord from the
power outlet.Then disconnect the plug
from the charging socket.
Do not leave the dive light permanently (several days) on trickle charge.
Check and rinse the O-ring and apply a thin coating of silicone grease before replacing the
house.
WARNING: THE BATTERY PACK SHOULD ALWAYS BE CHARGED WITH THE
CHARGER ENCLOSED OR ADVISED BY METALSUB, USING DIFFERENT CHARGING
DIVICES COULD CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE BATTERY CELLS.
