5.6. Spreading adapter
The adapter consists of a frame on which four worm drums driven by the telescopic jointed shaft, the drive
shafts and the transmission gearbox installed in the adapter frame. The drive is transmitted from the tractor PTO.
The adapter frame is connected to the spreader frame by six or eight M14 bolts (depending on version).
Adapter disassembly procedure:
decouple the telescopic jointed shaft from the adapter transmission;
decouple the hydraulic quick-couplings of the net raising cylinder;
open the locks holding the adapter unit;
use a lifting device with the minimum capacity of 600 kg to remove the adapter.
Exercise extreme caution when assembling and disassembling (repairing) the adapter. Due
to the large weight of these components, use suitable lifting equipment. The assembly and
disassembly procedures must be performed by two persons.
