Assembly and Installation
To prevent unsafe or improper installation, please read each step carefully before beginning.

Place all parts from the box in a cleared area and position them on the floor in front of you.

Remove all packing materials from the area and place them back into the box.
Do not dispose of the packing materials until assembly is completed.

Set the mat hanger wall plate over the pre-drilled holes
ensuring it is level before attaching with the
appropriate hardware.
6.
Place plastic caps [3] into the recessed opening to cover
hardware after affixing the mat hanger wall plate [1].

7.
Add one washer [4] to the threaded end of the dowel hangers
[2] and screw into the bushings in the mat hanger wall plate [1],
turning clockwise. Repeat with the second dowel hanger.
NOTE:
Once hooked into the bushing the dowel hanger may be
adjusted by sliding it within the opening to allow for correctly
spaced dowel hangers.
ENSURE MOUNTING IS SECURE, PRIOR TO HANGING MATS.

Select your wall and identify and obtain the
appropriate hardware.
NOTE:
A minimum of 80"/ 2 m is required from the floor to allow
for mat clearance.

Measure and mark drill holes for placement of the mat hanger
wall plate [1], using the builder’s level to ensure it is level.
NOTE:
The holes are set 16"/40.64 cm apart. It is recommended
that at least one hole be set into the wall support stud.
3.
Drill two holes 16"/40.64 cm apart and at your desired height.

4.
Place the T-shaped screw bushings [5] into the groove on
the back of the mat hanger wall plate [FIG. A].
NOTE:
The bushings slide within the groove to allow for
adjustment of the dowel hangers.
