− Never open the protective flap during operation when mowing
without the grass catcher bag.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the lawn mower may result in damage to the
lawn mower.
− Do not use the lawn mower to trim shrubs and hedges nor as
a shredder for cutting tree and shrub prunings or for levelling
ground.
− Before mowing, remove any branches, rocks, fallen fruit and
other debris as well as molehills from the lawn.
− If the ground is not even, make sure that the cutting blades do
not come into contact with the ground.
− On sloped ground, always work perpendicular to the slope.
For reasons of safety, slopes of 15 degrees or more must not be
worked on.
− Each time before you use the lawn mower, check whether the
cutting blades and all screwed fittings are intact. Have dull or
damaged cutting blades sharpened or replaced by a specialist
workshop.
− If the cutting blades come into contact with rocks or other hard
objects, immediately stop the motor, pull the mains plug and
check the cutting blades for damage.
− If the lawn mower acts unusually or emits unusual noises or
odours, immediately switch the lawn mower off and pull the
mains plug out.
