Expert Panel : Expert Panel Overview
This is a rotary control (non-automated) that determines the speed at which a fader glides back to it's previ-
ously automated position after having been released (when in
release
mode). When set to low (knob is
turned to the left) a Fader will take
0ms
to return to its automated position after being released (the same
as
snap
for all practical purposes). When turned to the right, it will take 10 seconds (
10,000ms
) to return to
its previously automated value after being released.
18 snap button
Invokes the Pyramix automation
Snap release
mode. The current value snaps back instantly to the value
written in the previous pass when the control is released.

19 release button
Invokes the Pyramix automation
Auto-release
mode. The current value morphs to the value written in the
previous pass when the control is released at a rate determined by the
release time knob
.

mode. Writes automation until the current value matches
automation data written in the previous pass then it releases automation into

mode. The button lights when the mode is engaged. Please

Note:
At any time while writing automation you can set another release mode providing
Stop
has not been pressed.
22 trim button
Invokes the Pyramix automation
Trim
mode. The button lights when the mode is engaged.
Trim
mode
operates an a “Touch” basis. So long as you are touching the desired fader (or other encoder) trim mode
remains engaged. As soon as the fader is released the current release mode is activated. Please see the
Pyramix V6 User Manual for details.
Note:
The orange
TRIM
LED adjacent to the fader is lit when
Trim
is active.
23 hold button
The encoder currently touched will be held until released The button lights when pressed.
Note:
The purple
HOLD
LED adjacent to the fader is lit when
Hold
is active.
24 snapshot
Produces an automation
snapshot
(keyframe) of all touched encoders or, if
inject
is touched, for the
whole strip(s) of the current values at the Play cursor position.
