of manufacture.

OWNER RESPONSIBILITY
The owner/operator is required to have routine engine maintenance performed
to maintain emission levels within prescribed certification standards.
The owner/operator is not to modify the engine in any manner that would alter
the horsepower or allow emission levels to exceed their predetermined factory
specifications.
Inspection and Maintenance Schedule
PRIOR TO EVERY USE
•
Check that the lanyard stop switch stops the engine.
•
Check the steering system for binding or loose components.
•
Check the outboard for tightness on the transom.
•
Check the propeller blades for damage.
•
Visually inspect all hoses, clamps, fittings, tubing, sealing gaskets, and
mounting hardware for wear.
AFTER EACH SALTWATER OR POLLUTED WATER USE
•
Flush all internal passages with fresh water.
