Step 8

Position the roof ends onto the 
roof. Ensure the tongue and groove 
meet and boards sit flush together. 
Attach the boards using 12x40mm 
screws, ensuring the boards are 
screwed into the gable framing

To secure the roof felt, sandwhich 
strips on top and underneath the 
roof (each side) using 24x30mm 
screws.

Secure the building to the floor using 
36x60mm screws in alignment with 
the floor joists.

Step 11

Fix the door handles and the metal bar (spindle) using 8x30mm 
screws. Ensure the mortice lock closes correctly.  If not,  remove 
lock and turn the catch around using the small grub screw.

Cut the felt into 3 strips (3140mm).

Roll felt across from side to side in 
order as shown in the diagram, 
leaving a 50mm overhang at the 
front and back.

Each sheet needs a 50mm overlap.

Secure the felt in place with felt 
tacks at 100mm intervals
