When a new security key is generated, all
existing Wi-Fi connections are then discon-
nected. If the Wi-Fi connections are being re-
established, the new security key must be
entered.

In vehicles with front passenger display or
rear displays, the lock for the MBUX rear tab-
let can be switched on or off via the Control
Center. Further information on the Control
Center (

page 459).

Select MBUX rear tablet .

Select Lock .
r : the lock is active. The MBUX rear tablet
is locked and cannot be operated.
s
: the lock is deactivated. The MBUX rear
tablet is unlocked and can be operated.
System language
▌ Notes on the system language
This function allows you to determine the lan-
guage for the menu displays and the navigation
announcements. The selected language affects
the characters available for entry. The navigation
announcements are not available in all languages.
If a language is not available, the navigation
announcements will be in English.
