Gross combination weights above 44 t
Increased gross combination weights (GCW) can
now be selected by code for the first time. The code
covers all the components necessary to achieve the
desired GCW. The vehicle can then be licensed with
the required GCW.
At gross combination weights above 120 t the turbo
retarder coupling (G3Y) is recommended. Further-
more, on 2-axle vehicle of 44 t GCW and above, a
parking brake on the front axle (B2Z) is necessary.
