exceeded when driving through standing
water.

When driving through the water a bow
wave forms.

Water accumulates when driving through
running water.

Do not exceed the maximum permissible
fording depth and drive slowly through
the water.
The speci ed value indicates the maximum per-
missible fording depth for:

Vehicles that are ready to drive

slow driving through standing water
Driving through owing water reduces the permis-
sible fording depth due to the accumulation of
water.
