Power Windows
Switch group for power windows:
1 left, front
2 left, rear
3 right, front
4 right, rear
5 Safety switch
The power windows can be operated
with the key in steering lock position
1 or 2.
All four windows can then be oper­
ated using the switches in the center
console. The rear door windows can
also be operated using the switches
(6) in each rear door panel. If inadver­
tent operation of the rear windows (for
instance by children) is to be pre­
vented, push safety switch (5) to the
right (symbol becomes visible).
Warning!
When leaving the car always re­
move the key from the steering
lock. Do not leave children un­
attended in the vehicle. Unsuper­
vised use of power windows can
cause serious personal injury.
Shelf below Rear Window
Warning!
The shelf below the rear window
should not be used to carry ob­
jects. This will prevent such objects
from being thrown about and injur­
ing vehicle occupants during an
accident or sudden maneuver.
