FAN INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Rev 2.0

Make sure electricity is turned off at the main power box before commencing work. Turn off

the power by removing fuse or turning off circuit breaker before installing the fan  and

replacing the lamps.

The lowest point on the fan blade must be at least 2.1 metres (7 feet) from the floor.

Make sure that ceiling joists are strong enough and of adequate size to support the weight of

the fan and the force of about 35 kg.

1.

Fan, hanger bracket and light kit (optional) must be

earthed during installation. Secure the mounting

bracket to the ceiling joist or suitable piece of timber

inserted between the ceiling joists. The bracket

should be attached with two timber screws

supplied.

2.

Remove the two screws from the covering plate of

the blade-fixing hole. Insert blades one at a time

through four slots around the fan housing and

secure with three screws for each blade through the

top opening. Repeat this procedure for all blades. All

blades are weighted and grouped accordingly,

therefore care should be taken when installing more

than one fan not to mix blade sets.

Fix the covering plate with two screws after

installing blades.

3.

Carefully lift motor body onto hanger bracket. Install

the ball joint into the hanger bracket opening.

Rotate fan until notch on downrod ball engages the

ridge on the hanger bracket. This will allow hands

free wiring.

4.

After connecting wires in accordance to the wiring

diagram provided, align the key holes on the canopy

with the protruding screw heads from the hanger

bracket. Lift the canopy up and rotate until screw

heads engage the key slots fully and tighten. Be

careful not to damage wiring.
