6.9 SETUP settings (SETUP)
The
SETUP
menu items are made up of six submenu items.
Menu item
Meaning
RANGE
Setting of the pressure range (max. 100 % of the measuring span)
UNIT
Selection of the pressure unit
Selectable pressure units:
Pa, kPa, hPa, bar, mbar, psi, inH
2
O, inHg, mmHg, Torr
The selected pressure unit will be shown on the display.
Dependent upon the measuring range of the instrument, various units are
not available since they could not be displayed.
STEPS
Setting of the step size in x %.
The step size for the
STEP
function, in x % of the set range, can be
changed.
Possible settings are from 1 … 50 %.
MODE
Selection and setting of the operating mode
The following modes can be selected:

Measure
“MEAS”
: Measurement of differential and gauge pressure in
the set pressure unit
■
Control
“CTRL”
: Regulates to the specified set point automatically
■
Automatic
“AUTO”
: A stored test sequence is processed
LANGUAGE
Selection of the display language
The language in which the menu will be displayed can be set here. There
is a choice between German, English, Spanish and French.

Here additional instrument settings can be made
Navigation within the menu:

: Acts to confirm the relevant setting

arrows: Setting of the active decimal place
[▲]

arrows: Changes between the different submenu items
