SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS

10. FAULT FINDING

OPERATE APPLIANCE BEFORE COMMISSIONING
1. Click on the remote handset power bu�on. if the appliance does not func�on, then, follow points 1, 2, 3,

4 and 5 respec�vely.

2. Check the power connec�on to the mains switch on the wall is in the on posi�on.
3. Check the isola�on switch on the appliance (see s�cker on the appliance). the switch must be set to the

“I”posi�on

4. Check the ba�eries in your handset. Check if the ba�eries are in the correct posi�on and refit if

necessary.

5. if a�er checking 1, 2, 3 s�ll nothing happens, then it may be necessary to re-pair the handset to the

appliance, see servicing sec�on.

6. If a�er checking 1, 2, 3 &4 nothing s�ll has happened, then disconnect the power from the mains (unplug

from socket), and wait for 60 seconds, then plug it back in and repeat steps 1 to 4. If you do not have
access to the mains switch, because it is built-in, then disconnect from the fuse board.

7. On cold days or if the appliance is fi�ed in a conservatory, the flame effect may move slowly (or appear

to s�ck slightly), when you first start it. Turn on the hea�ng by clicking on the bo�om bu�on for few
minutes. this will generate a stronger pull and will warm up the glass.

FAULT:

The hea�ng does not turn-on when you select hea�ng mode but the flame effect is running.

A) Check the ba�eries in your hand set. The red led must be showing brightly.

B) Try selec�ng hea�ng mode again, but closer to the appliance.

C). Turn off appliance, then turn it on again, wait for 10 seconds, then select hea�ng mode again.

D). If a�er checking a, b &c the hea�ng s�ll does not turn on then follow point number 5.

11. SERVICING REQUIREMENTS

TO SERVICE THE APPLIANCE PLEASE FOLLOW THE STEPS AS DETAILED:
1. Turn on the flame effect. If appliance does not work, then follow the fault finding guide.
2. If it works then operate heat se�ng at various levels.
3. Turn on the effect mode for the flames, make sure the flame effect goes from max brightness to a

minimumand then start cycling up and down.

4. If steps 2 &3 are ok, then use your handset to turn off the heat, turn off effect mode and turn off the fire.
5. Turn off the switch on the fire.
6. The isola�on switch on the appliance must be set to the “0” posi�on.
7. Turn off power connec�on mains switch on the wall to off posi�on. if you do not have an access to the

mains on/off switch, because it is built-in, then disconnect from mains fuse board.

ONCE THESE STEPS HAVE BEEN FOLLOWED:

8. Change the ba�eries in the hand set.
9. Open the door of the stove.
10. Gently remove the fuel effects and clean the plate on which it sits with screen cleaner.
11. Wipe and clean the back screen of the fire, with screen cleaner and cloth and wait about 2 minutes to

dry.
