Functional Description
The following describes the individual functions of the system and their
configuration. There is no detailed description of the individual controller chips and
the CPU. They can be obtained from the data sheets or data books of the
semiconductor manufacturer concerned.
3.1
Power Supply
The BC50R is supplied with a nominal input voltage of 24 VDC and 36 VDC (10 to
50.4 V input voltage range) via a 4-pin M12 connector. You can find pin 1 at the left
(see
Figure 6, PSU connector at BC50R front
).
The onboard power supply generates all the necessary internal voltages.
Connector type:
• 4-pin M12 plug, male, A-coded 90° (Phoenix Contact SACC-CI-M12MS-
4CON-L90 SCO - 1436660)
Mating connector:
• 4-pin M12 receptacle, female, A-coded
