Use conventional copper stranded wire for all connections. Finish all the ends wire at the amp and vehicle connections with

the proper size terminals. Poorly made connections or frayed or loose wires may generate excessive heat, short circuit and

potentially lead to system failure.

POWER CONNECTIONS (+12V & GND)

The +12V terminal should be connected to the PO12V power using a 1 A fuse between the power source and the LL6SA.

The GND terminal should be connected to the chassis ground and should have a ring terminal crimped and soldered and

should be connected to the chassis of the vehicle in an area free of debris. Paint should be stripped and cleaned for a sound

connection.

REMOTE IN

The LL6SA is turned on by ap12V DC to this terminal.  Connect the REMOTE terminal to the lead or power antenna wire

from the head unit.  If the head unit doesn't provide a remote turn on, you can use the accessory terminal in the car’s fuse

block. Using this method will turn off the LL6SA with the vehicles ignition key regardless of whether the head unit is on or

off.

REMOTE OUT

The LL6SA is equipped with a signal sensing circuit that is designed to detect a signal on its input to both turn on the LL6SA

and provide a +12V output signal to turn on an after market amplifier. Connect this terminal to the remote terminal (turn on

lead) of your amplifier. If more than one amplifier is being used with the turn on output of this unit, a relay must be used.

Isolation Jumper:

Occasionally alternator noise may appear in a system because the source unit and amplifier are using different

grounding schemes. To help in this situation, we have provided alternative grounding connections. Make sure your

system is turned OFF before you move these jumpers.  The LL6SA is shipped in the isolated position.

You have 3 options jumper selections:

1. Isolated

2.

200 ohm

3. Ground

Blending Switch:

The LL6SA contains switches that will allow you to sum selected channels into the main channels.  This is especially

useful for factory-installed systems with actively crossed-over speaker systems.  The switches allow you to select

which input signals will be summed into the Main outputs. When the switch is in the blended (Summed) position,

there will also be a corresponding green indicator light on the front of the LL6SA. The shipped-from-the-factory

setting is in the direct position.
