Servicing is required when the apparatus has been

Wireless Technology, makes
it easy to take your tunes anywhere. Choose from a variety of music sources,
including CD/ CD-R / CD-RW / MP3/ WMA formatted Discs, AM/FM Stereo
Radio, Audio devices through Line In port and wireless streaming from Bluetooth-
enabled devices. Please follow these operational instructions carefully. Save them

POWER SUPPLY
Before first use, check
that the rated voltage of
the unit matches your
local voltage.
• Connect AC adaptor
and power cord to AC

the AC power cord. Battery power
will automatically cut off when
cord is connected.
• Insert 6 “C” size batteries (not
included). When the volume
decreases, or the sound starts to
distort, replace all of the batteries with new ones.
OPERATION
Pair a Bluetooth-Enabled Mobile Device
1. Turn on MP3451 by sliding the Function Switch

to the BT/RADIO
position.
2. Slide the BT/Band Switch

to the BT position to select the Bluetooth
mode (the Stereo/BT indicator

will blink and an audible tone will sound).
The unit will automatically search for and pair to a previously paired
Bluetooth device (if previously paired) and then light solid. You can also
press and hold the Stop/BT button

for 2 seconds to begin pairing; the
Stereo/BT indicator will blink.
3. Turn on your mobile device’s Bluetooth option in settings to search for a
discoverable device with a Bluetooth signal. Select MRX-MP3451 from the
device results on your smartphone or tablet.
4. You will hear an audible tone indicating the Bluetooth connection is now
enabled and the Stereo/BT indicator

will light solid when successfully
paired.
5. Use “0000” if a pairing code is necessary on your mobile device.
6. Find your music selection on your mobile device, select play and enjoy!
7. While connected via Bluetooth, press the Play/Pause button

Slide the FUNCTION Switch

to the LINE IN/CD position to turn the unit on to
the CD/LINE IN mode. Insert one end of an audio cable (not included) into the
Line Out jack on your external audio unit and the other end into the Line In jack

on this unit; the unit will automatically enter the Line in mode. Start playback
of the external unit and its audio output sound will be heard through this unit’s
speakers

MAINTAINING YOUR SYSTEM FOR CONTINUED
ENJOYMENT
• When not in use, turn unit off.
• Keep the unit away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
• CLEANING THE CD LENS: If the CD lens is dusty, clean it with a brush-
blower. Blow several times on the lens and remove the dust with the brush.
Finger prints may be removed with a cotton swab moistened with alcohol.
• CLEANING THE UNIT: Do not use volatile chemicals on this unit. Clean by
lightly wiping with a soft cloth.
• If an abnormal display indication or an operating problem occurs, disconnect
the AC power cord and/or remove the batteries. Wait at least 5 seconds,
then reconnect the AC power cord or reinstall the batteries.

BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
Follow these precautions when using batteries in this device:
1. Warning – Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same
or equivalent type.
2. Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
3. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated in the battery
compartment. A reversed battery may cause damage to the device.
4. Do not mix dThis equipment should be installed and operated with minimum distance of
20cm between the radiator ifferent types of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline, Rechargeable
and Carbon-zinc) or old batteries with fresh ones.
5. If the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent
damage or injury from possible battery leakage.
6. Do not try to recharge a battery not intended to be recharged; it can overheat and rupture.
(Follow battery manufacturer’s directions.)
7. Remove batteries promptly if consumed.
