Attaching the outer wall terminal

Use a size 4 Allen key to remove the
hexagon socket screw (item 1 in Fig. 23)
on the cover (item 2 in Fig. 23) and lift the
cover away from the base plate (item 3 in

Fully coat the 4 mm wide sealing surfaces
(item 4 in Fig. 23) on the inside with Vase-
line.

Carefully position the base plate (item 1 in
Fig. 24) correctly on the ventilation pipes.
Be careful not to damage the seals or bend
the perforated plates (item 2 in Fig. 24).
The perforated plates fix the base plate in
the plaster.
NOTE
Make sure that the drip edge (item 3 in Fig. 24) is
pointing downwards.

Use a spirit level to align the base plate
vertically (item 4 in Fig. 24).
►
Use the six screws provided to fix the base
plate (item 5 in Fig. 24).
►
Mask the whole front, edge and drip edge of the base plate using adhesive tape.
NOTE
If the base plate is not masked, there is a risk that the seals will be damaged during plastering.

Plaster in the base plate. Make sure that the plaster does not protrude over the base plate.
►
Remove the adhesive tape from the front and from the drip edge.

Position the cover (item 1 in Fig. 25) on the
base plate.
NOTE
Make sure that the louvres of the cover are point-
ing downwards to prevent the ingress of water in
driving rain.

Use the hexagon socket screw to fix the
cover (item 2 in Fig. 25).
