SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
The appliance must not be submerged in
water!
•
Not for outdoor use.
•
Do not fill with more than 60 g of corn
kernels at a time, equivalent to one large
measuring spoon.
•
The lid must not be fitted to the bowl dur-
ing use!

BEFORE USE
•
Wipe the hotplate (4) with a well-wrung
cloth.
•
Wash the bowl (2), lid (3) and measuring
spoons (7) in warm soapy water and dry
thoroughly.
USE
•
Remove the bowl (2) from the appliance.
Take the lid (3) off the bowl.
•
Place the appliance on a flat, stable and
heat-resistant surface.
•
Pour a little vegetable oil or melted but-
ter onto the hotplate (4) using the small
measuring spoon (7), and distribute the fat
using a piece of kitchen roll or similar.
•
Switch on the appliance using the on/off
button (5). The indicator light (6) will come
on and the hotplate will heat up.
Note! There may be a small amount of
smoke and a slight smell when you first
use the appliance. This is completely
normal, and the smoke/smell will soon
disappear.
•
Allow the appliance to heat up for 1½-2
minutes, until the indicator light goes off.
