PRIOR TO FIRST USE
• Remove all packaging material.
• Before using for the first time, or after
prolonged storage without use, wash
any parts that will come into contact
with food.
• To remove any metal residue from the
production process, we recommend
you fit the auger (15), blade (16) and
meat screen (17) in the meat grinder
body (14) and allow the appliance to
run for approximately 2 minutes with
each meat screen without food. Then
clean the accessories before use.
ASSEMBLY
1. Place the motor section on a flat
surface, e.g. a kitchen counter, and
make sure it is standing firmly.
2. Press the release button (2) in the
direction of the arrow and tilt the arm
up.
3. Fit the mixing bowl (8) in the recess
on the motor section base. Turn the
bowl towards the LOCK mark so that
it locks in place. Place the required
food in the mixing bowl.
4. Place the splash guard (24) around
the shaft.
5. Then fit the desired accessory onto
the shaft (9) on the underside of the
arm. Turn the accessory clockwise to
lock it securely on the motor shaft.
• The dough hook (6) is used for heavy
dough, minced meat or other de-
manding kneading jobs.
• The whisks (5, 7) are used for whisk-
ing cream, egg whites, etc.
6. Press the release button and lower
the arm so that it locks in place with a
click.
7. The appliance is now ready for use.
WHISKING, KNEADING AND
MIXING
1. Turn the speed selector (3) to the
required speed from 1 to 6.
• Speed settings 1-2 should be used
with the dough hook.
• Speeds 3-4 are for use with the
whisk.
• Speeds 5-6 are intended for use with
the balloon whisk.
• PULSE is intended for short bursts of
whisking.
2. If you need to scrape inside the mix-
ing bowl, wait until the accessory has
stopped completely. Use a spatula,
never your fingers.
3. Switch the appliance off by turning the
speed selector to position 0 once you
have finished using the appliance.
Always unplug the appliance before
you change the accessories or take
the appliance apart.
4. Tilt the arm up using the release
handle.
5. Turn the accessory anti-clockwise
as far as it will go, and pull it off the
shaft.
6. Remove the mixing bowl.
