8. Fit the ring nut (1) over the meat
screen on the grinder body. Turn
clockwise to lock. The ring nut must
hold the meat screen securely in
place. Do not over tighten.
9. Fit the tray (8) onto the meat grinder
body.
10. The appliance is now ready for use.
Grinding Meat
1. Cut your meat into smaller pieces, so
the pieces fit into the feeding tube.
Use cubes or strips no bigger than
2×2×6 cm.
2. Put the pieces of meat onto the tray.
3. Place the mixing bowl or similar under
the meat grinder body opening.
4. Turn the appliance on. Select speed
setting 5.
5. The meat pieces travel down the
feeding tube. Push down carefully
with the tamper (7). Do not press too
hard or you may damage the appli-
ance.
6. Press the OFF button on the control
panel to switch off the appliance after
use. Always unplug the appliance
before you change the accessories or
take the appliance apart.
7. Always fit the protective cover when
not using the accessory socket.
IMPORTANT!
Always remove bone, gristle, tendons,
and rind before grinding the meat.
Frozen food must be thoroughly defrosted
before grinding.
The meat grinder must only be used to
grind meat. Avoid grinding pasty foods,
e.g. food containing breadcrumbs, as this
could damage the appliance.
USING THE PASTRY MAKER
1. Fit the meat grinder body to the ac-
cessory opening as described above.
2. Fit the auger in the grinder body.
3. Fit the spreader disc (21). Do not fit
blade or meat screen.
4. Fit the round metal holder (20) from
the pastry maker onto the auger con-
nector.
5. Fit the ring nut over the metal holder
on the meat grinder body. Turn clock-
wise to lock. The ring nut must hold
the metal holder securely in place. Do
not over tighten.
6. Fit the patterned flat metal strip (19)
from the pastry maker into the metal
holder.
7. Push the metal strip back or forward
to select the pattern.
8. Fit the tray onto the meat grinder
body.
9. Put the biscuit dough onto the tray.
10. Switch on the appliance, and feed the
dough gradually into the feeding tube.
Press down using the tamper. Do not
press too hard or you may damage
the appliance.
11. Catch the dough as it exits the appli-
ance, making sure it does not break.
Cut the dough to size. Bake the
biscuits.
12. Press the OFF button on the control
panel to switch off the appliance after
use. Always unplug the appliance
before you change the accessories or
take the appliance apart.
