1. Separate the solar cell housing

from the glass jar

Move the ON / OFF switch

to the OFF position to switch
off the product.
2. Rotate the battery compartment

by moving it clockwise
and then lever out the battery compartment

. Take care not
to damage the cables, cable connections and the LED light
chain

3. Exchange the old rechargeable battery

to a new one, en-
sure that you do not damage the wiring. Take care of the cor-
rect polarity, when inserting the new rechargeable battery

The polarity is indicated in the battery compartment

. The
new rechargeable battery

has to have the same technical
data like the old one.
4. Now insert the battery compartment

into the solar cell
housing

by moving it anti-clockwise. Move the ON / OFF
switch

to ON position to enable the product switching on
during darkness.
5. Put back the solar cell housing

to the glass jar
