remove the melted glue by yourself; instead, seek
medical attention. Cover the burnt skin with a
clean plaster or a piece of clean bandage.
− Do not keep holding the trigger if the glue gun
does not immediately dispense hot glue. It is likely
that the glue gun is not hot enough yet. If you hold
the trigger for an extended period of time, hot glue
may leak from the back and cause burns.
− Unplug the mains adapter from the socket after
using the charging station.
− Wait until the glue has cooled and hardened
before touching it.
− Allow the glue gun to cool down completely after
use and before storing it. To store the glue gun,
place it on the charging station and ensure that
there is no glue residue that may drip down and
damage the surface beneath. Do not place the
glue gun flat down on a surface when it is cooling
down.
WARNING! Health hazard!
Hazardous vapours may be released when hot glue
and materials are heated.
− Do not inhale the vapours released when working
with hot glue. Make sure there is adequate ventila-
tion. If your work space does not have adequate
ventilation, wear respiratory protection when using
hot glue.
