This option allows you to format the memory card while it
is in the MPEG-4 recorder. To format the memory card:
1.
Use the
keys to select the MS, SD, or CF
memory card and press
.
2.
Select
YES
to confirm formatting or
NO
to cancel.

To upgrade firmware:
1.
Get firmware upgrades from the website.
2.
Copy the latest version of firmware onto a memory
card.
3.
Insert the card into the recorder.
4.
Scroll down to the Firmware Upgrade option and
press .
5.
Select
YES
to confirm upgrade or
NO
to cancel.
After the upgrading the firmware, the device will automat-
ically turn off and restart. To restore the firmware to the
original version, perform the Factory Reset function.
