FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. How to upgrade the firmware of HDML-Cloner Box Pro?
(1) Download the firmware of HVR-7200 HD Video Capture Pro from http://www.meicheng.com.tw
the firmware package and you will get the file "jedi.img". Copy the file "jedi.img" to the USB flash drive (FAT32
format) by plugging it into the computer.
(2) Connect the power adapter to HVR-7200 HD Video Capture Pro and plug the USB flash drive into the
"USB storage" port of HVR-7200 HD Video Capture Pro.
(3) Press and hold the "ON/OFF" button for about 5 seconds to turn on the power.
(4) The LED light will blink quickly (green and blue alternately) in the first 3 seconds, and then blink slowly (green
and blue alternately). "Blink slowly" indicates HVR-7200 HD Video Capture Pro is in the process of upgrading and
the process will be completed in 10 seconds to 2 minutes. The duration may vary according to the contents to be
updated.
(5) When the LED light switches to "quick blinking" from "slow blinking", it indicates the upgrade has been
completed. Then you can restart HVR-7200 HD Video Capture Pro to enjoy the new firmware.
Notes:
1. In the process of upgrading, please don't cut off the power or turn off/turn on the power. If HVR-7200 HD Video
Capture Pro fails to work due to unexpected power outage, please return it to us for repair.
2. When the upgrade is completed, please delete the firmware on the USB flash drive to avoid upgrading every
time HVR-7200 HD Video Capture Pro starts.
