NOTE :
It is important to discharge each Current Generator before transport. First disconnect the Current
Generator completely. Connect the charge/discharge tool as described above and press the red button
(Discharge). In this way, short circuiting the Current Generator’s power junction connectors will not cause
any damage.
8.4 How to use the Power Flex-cables.
Each DC Current Generator is provided with two Power Flex-cables (Ø 240 mm², length 2 m) to connect to the High-
speed DC Circuit Breaker. The Power Flex-cables are equipped with Power Junction Bayonet Connectors and cable
lugs.
Exercise care when connecting the DC Current Generators to the High-speed DC Circuit Breaker.

CAUTION : Before connecting the Power Junction Connectors to the DC Current Generators, please ensure
that the contact bands - both front and rear - are intact and positioned properly within the connector. The
contact bands are important for providing good contact and the least possible impedance.
