• Only use the machine in daylight, or in good artificial lighting.
• If possible, avoid using the lawn mower when the grass is wet.
• Make sure you always have a good footing on sloping ground.
• Use the machine carefully. Never run with the machine.
• Mow across slopes, never up or down.
• Be very careful when changing direction on slopes.
• Do not mow very steep slopes.
• Be very careful when going backwards or pulling the machine towards you.
• Stop the blades if the machine has to be tilted when moving it over an
ungrassed surface, or when moving to and from the area to be mowed.
• Never use the machine if the guards or covers are dismantled or damaged.
Never use the machine without the safety devices fitted, e.g. ejector guide
and/or catcher.
• Do not change the speed governor setting and do not over rev the engine.
• Disengage and place all levers in neutral before starting the engine.
• Start the motor according to the instructions. Keep your feet away from the
blades.
• Do not tilt the machine when the motor is started.
• Do not stand in front of the ejector opening when starting the engine.
• Keep hands and feet away from moving parts. Always keep at a safe distance
from the ejector opening.
• Never lift or carry the machine when the engine is running.
• Turn off the engine, release the spark plug lead from the spark plug, remove
the ignition key and wait until all moving parts have completely stopped.
• Before clearing blockages or cleaning the ejector.
• Before checking, cleaning or doing any other work on the machine.
• If you run into an object. Check the machine and repair any damage before
you use it again.
• If the lawn mower starts vibrating abnormally (check immediately).
• Turn off the engine, release the spark plug lead from the spark plug, remove
the ignition key and wait until all moving parts have completely stopped in the
following situations. Before you leave the machine.
• Reduce the throttle and turn off the fuel cock (if there is one) before stopping
the engine.
