SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the User Instructions carefully before use.
Save them for future reference.
IMPORTANT:
A temporary voltage drop may occur when starting the tool, which could affect other
equipment. Such interference does not normally occur if the impedance in the mains supply Zmax is
less than 0.190 ohm. You may need to contact your electricity supplier for more information.
• Never use the hot air gun as a hairdryer.
• Never block the air openings on the tool.
• A damaged power cord must be replaced by an authorised service centre, or qualified person,
to ensure safe use.
• Do not use power tools in explosive environments, such as in the vicinity of flammable liquids,
gases or dust.
• Improper use can cause a fire.
• Do not point the air flow at people or animals.
• Unplug the power cord and allow the tool to cool before putting it away.
• When not in use, store the tool in a dry place out of the reach of children.
• Place the tool with the nozzle pointing up when not in use.
• Never leave the tool unattended, especially when there are children nearby.
• Pay special attention if the tool is used in the vicinity of flammable materials.
• Do not point the jet of hot air at the same spot for a long time.
• Bear in mind that heat can be transmitted to flammable material that you cannot see,

disorders, or by persons who do not have sufficient experience or knowledge on how to use it,
unless they have received instructions concerning the use of the tool from someone who is
responsible for their safety.
