1. Connect the battery to the charger.
2. Plug in the plug. The red charge status
light goes on.
3. When the battery is fully charged the
green status light goes on.
4. Replace the battery in the product.
5. The charger must be switched off for at
least 15 minutes between charges. Pull
out the plug from the power point.
Inserting the battery
1. Press the battery firmly in the handle with
a click.
Removing the battery
1. Press the lock button and remove the
battery.
Checking the battery charging
1. Press the power switch lock and the power
switch to check the battery charge. The
battery charge status is shown as follows.
Red, orange and green = fully charged.
Red and orange = partially charged.
Red = discharged. Charge the battery.
Fitting/removing grip support
NOTE:
The grip support cannot be fitted/removed
when the saw blade is fitted.
Fitting grip support
1. Press the lock for the grip support.
2. Put the grip support over the guides on
the base plate and on the product.
3. Press the lock for the grip support.
Removing grip support
1. Press the lock and pull forward the grip
support, away from the guides.
Fitting/replacing saw blades
Wear safety gloves when handling saw blades.
1. Turn the quick chuck as far as it goes in
the direction of the arrow and hold it
there.
2. Push in the required saw blade as far as it
goes in the quick chuck.

IMPORTANT:
The teeth on the blade must point down.
3. Release the quick chuck. It should return
to its original position. The saw blade is
then locked in place.

Switching on/off
Switching on
1. Press in and hold the safety lock.
2. Press the power switch.
Switching off
1. Release the power switch.
Sawing
Without grip support
Do not use the grip support for sawing wood,
plastic, building materials or thick branches.
The workpieces should be flush with the base
plate. Saw round the workpiece with a swing
action.
Flush sawing
Flexible saw blades can be used for cutting
protruding objects such as pipes flush to the
surface, on the assumption that the blade is
long enough.
1. Place the saw blade with the side against
the wall.
2. Press the product sideways so that the
blade bends and the base plate rests
against the wall.
