Grinding
1.
For optimum results, hold the grinding disc at a 15° angle to the workpiece. Move the tool
smoothly backwards and forwards, applying gentle pressure.
2.
This will prevent ridges forming and stop the workpiece from overheating or becoming
discoloured.
3.
Never try to use cutting discs for grinding.
4.
Hold the tool so that sparks and shavings are directed away from the user.
WARNING:
Cutting and sanding produces hot sparks, which can ignite nearby materials.
Cutting
1.
Never change the angle after starting
the cut.
2.
Do not put lateral pressure on the
cutting disc.
3.
Start with the smallest dimension
when cutting profiles and rods.
4.
Use the controls to cut stone material.
5.
Always feed the tool in the opposite direction to the rotation of the disc.
WARNING:
The disc continues to rotate for a few seconds after the tool has been switched off. Keep
your hands away from the disc until it has stopped completely.
After use
1.
Switch off the angle grinder, disconnect it from the mains and allow it to cool.
