Bed Transport -

The bed is provided with a rolling base that allows it to be

rolled or locked at any bed elevation. In order to lock the bed, simply activate
brakes located on the twin-wheel casters at the foot and head end of the bed. To
roll the bed, disengage brakes. Activating caster brakes does not disengage bed
lift functions.

BATTERY BACKUP

In the event of the power failure, the actuator control box is provided with a
battery backup feature that enables bed lowering without AC power. Please keep
the battery backup plugged into control box to activate this feature.

CAUTION

If casters are not locked, swivel and wheel rotation can allow bed motion
with little or no resistance. This can result in loss of balance, fall, and
personal injury. Ensure that the casters are locked to avoid any bed
movement during resident transfer and/or use.
