If you receive a new message, you can open it via the no-
tification field or the message screen. Simply tap on the
new message to read it.
When you write or read an
SMS/MMS
with a new SIM
card for the first time, you must first select the standard
SIM card.
Set the standard SIM or activate the
Always ask
function
to be asked each time you open the
SMS/MMS
notifica-
tion centre.
6.10.1. Writing a new message
Tap on (

Enter the number or name of the recipient. Correspon-
ding contacts will be suggested during input. Tap on
the suggested contact to add it as a recipient.
Tap on
Type message
and then enter your message.
Tap on
to send your text message.
If you want to add an attachment to a text message,
tap on
and select the relevant attachment. The
SMS will then be automatically converted into an MMS
message.
