Pulse mode
Use the pulse button to crush ice or chop solid foods. The pulse button must be
held down continually during operation.
NOTE
When chopping food, working in pulse mode will achieve the best re-
sults. Operating it for longer will chop the food too finely.
6.1. Crushing ice
Make sure the jug is clean before using the blender to crush ice. Rinse the blend-
er jug out thoroughly. Even the tiniest detergent residues can affect the taste of the
crushed ice.
Fill the blender jug with
ice cubes
.
Place the blender jug directly onto the drive shaft on the base.
Press the pulse button 3 to 4 times for a maximum of 15 seconds, leaving short
intervals between each pulse.
