8. Using the appliance for the fi rst time
8.1. Attaching the cleaning brushes
The brushes supplied must be attached, if applicable, before the appliance is used for the first time.
The front cleaning brushes

can be pushed into the holders provided and removed
again.
Press both brushes onto the holder.
To attach the main brush

Press both tabs on the cover

to remove it.
Insert the narrow side of the main brush in the opening provided and then place the wide end
into the recess.
Close the cover again.
8.2. Positioning the charging station
Position the charging station on a wall close to a router with good WLAN reception or a WLAN re-
peater.
Please note that a clearance of 0.5 m to the sides and 1 m to the front is required.
Connect the mains cable to the mains connection on the charging station.
Insert the mains plug into the mains socket.
8.3. Charging the battery block
The robot vacuum cleaner is fitted with a lithium-ion battery block. After unpacking the appliance,
first charge the battery block for approx. 3 hours. This benefits battery performance in the long run.
The robot vacuum cleaner must be fully charged, and can either be placed on the charging station
manually or return to the charging station independently.
Place the robot vacuum cleaner onto the charging station so that the charging contacts lie on
top of each other.
For the robot vacuum cleaner to return to the charging station independently, place it approx.
30 to 50 cm away from the charging station and press the

button.
Once the robot vacuum cleaner has successfully reached the charging station, an acoustic signal
sounds.
