13.2. Control
You can control how tracks are played, the volume and a range of special functions
on your external device and on the radio. What functions are available is dependent
on your external device and the software that you use. In principle, these buttons
on the device are intended for control via Bluetooth:

Reduce/increase volume
/
Previous track/next track
Start/pause playback
14. Connecting an external playback device
You can use the
A U X I N
jack to connect an external playback device (for exam-
ple a CD player or MP3 player).
Switch the radio to standby mode.
Switch off your external device.
Plug the end of a 3.5 mm jack cable (not supplied with the device) into the
A U X I N
socket on the side of the radio.
Connect the other end of the cable to your external device.
Switch on your external device.
Press the
button on the radio.
Press the
M O D E
button once or several times until you see
AUX IN
in the dis-
play. The audio signal from your external device will now be played back.
15. USB playback
Plug a USB stick into the
U S B
port on the back of the device.
Press the
M O D E
button once or several times until you see
USB MODE
in
the display. The tracks are read and playback starts immediately.
The USB port is not suitable for charging USB devices.
