10.1. Using the remote control
If you want to control tracks using the remote control for the audio system, you
have the following options:
•
Press or turn the
V O L U M E - / +
buttons/control to increase or decrease
the volume.
•
Start or pause playback with the
S C A N /
button.
•
Skip to the previous or next track with the
or
buttons.
Please note that not every function is available for every external end device. It is
possible that some functions will be shown on the display of the external end de-
vice.
11. Sound playback from an external device
The AUX IN connection can be used to play sound from a different playback device
(for example, an MP3 player) from the loudspeakers.
Switch the device on.
Switch off your external device.
Insert one end of a 3.5 mm jack cable (not supplied)
into the AUX IN connection.
Plug the other end of the cable into your external unit (e.g. AUX/
LINE OUT).
Press the
M O D E
button once or multiple times until
AUX
appears on the dis-
play.
Switch your external unit on. The sound from the external device will be played
via the loudspeakers.
ATTENTION!
The maximum playback volume is dependent on the preset vo-
lume on the external device. Reduce the volume on the external
device to a minimum before connecting it.
