6. Getting
started
For information on connecting the sound system, see the following sections and
the illustration in “5.1. Subwoofer/connections” on page 63.
6.1. Connect the speakers to the subwoofer
Connect the cinch plug of the right speaker to the
AUDIO OUT R
connection
on the subwoofer.
Connect the cinch plug of the left speaker to the
AUDIO OUT L
connection on
the subwoofer.
6.2. Connect to an audio signal
Plug the 3.5 mm jack plug of the supplied audio cable into the corresponding
output on your audio output device.
Connect the red cinch plug of the supplied audio cable to the
AUDIO IN R
connection on the subwoofer.
Connect the white cinch plug of the supplied audio cable to the
AUDIO IN L
connection on the subwoofer.
6.3. Connecting to a power supply
Plug the mains plug of the subwoofer into an easily accessible mains socket.
7. Operation
7.1. Switching
on/off
Make sure that the volume control [
VOL
] is set to its lowest setting. To do this,
turn the volume control [
VOL
] to the left.
Switch on your audio source and play a suitable track.
Switch on your sound system using the on/off switch at the back of the
subwoofer. The subwoofer lights up once the sound system is switched on.
Adjust the volume to the desired level (see following section).
To switch off the sound system, use the on/off switch at the back of the
subwoofer.
7.2. Controlling the volume
In order to adjust the volume, turn the volume control [
VOL
] on the right side of
the subwoofer:

to the left: quieter
−
to the right: louder
7.3. Adjusting the sound
You can use the two sound controls [
TRE
] (treble) and [
BASS
] (bass) on the
