− Remove the protective cap from the pick-up arm

− If necessary, press the 

MODE 

button

 if the operating light

 is not lit up in red.

 

− Place a record on the turntable

− Before playing a single with a larger hole, place the adapter (“puck”)

 onto the spindle.

NOTICE!

Make sure that the record is free of dust. You can fi nd appropriate record-cleaning brushes 
and cloths in specialist retail shops.

 

− Select the desired speed with the speed controller

:

•  33 rpm for LPs

•  45 rpm for singles

•  78 rpm for special singles

 

− Set the 

AUTO STOP

 switch

 to decide whether the record automatically stops at the end of playback (

ON

).

 

− Release the latch for the pick-up arm

 and carefully lift up the pick-up arm

− Move the pick-up arm

 inwards over the edge of the record or over the point from which you want to play the 

record. The turntable

 starts to rotate.

 

− Carefully place the pick-up arm 

16

 onto the position from which you want to play the record.

 

− If necessary, move the lever for lowering the pick-up arm

 backwards. The needle goes down and the record 

starts to play.

 

− Control the volume with the volume controller

− Depending on the setting of the 

AUTO STOP

 function

, the turntable will stop when the record ends and the 

pick-up arm remains in its end position.

 

− If you want to interrupt playback, move the lever for lowering the pick-up arm

 forwards and carefully move 

the pick-up arm back into its mount.

NOTICE!

On some records, playback may stop before the record has completely ended. In this case, 
switch off the 

AUTO STOP

 function with the 

AUTO STOP

 switch on the rear of the device 

(

OFF

). Switch this function back on (

ON

) once playback has been completed otherwise the 

turntable will not stop rotating.

 AUX IN operation

You can connect a device with a LINE OUT output or a headphone socket (e.g. a CD player or mobile telephone) to the 
device’s 

AUX IN

input

 using a cable with a 3.5mm jack plug.

 

− Switch the device on by turning the volume controller

 in a clockwise direction. The operating light

 lights 

up in red.

 

− Press the 

MODE

 button

. The LED fl ashes in red and blue alternately.

 

− Start the playback at the connected device.

 

− If necessary, adjust the volume with the volume controller

 on the record player and on the connected device.
