Operation 

Inserting the battery 

This scale runs on a lithium battery CR2032. 
If the screen shows "

LO

" or the display's intensity falls the battery must be 

replaced. 

 

Turn the battery compartment lid anticlockwise and remove it. 

 

Ensure the +/- terminals of the battery are correct. 
The plus (+) terminal points to the battery lid. Lay the 
battery under the lead. Press the battery smoothly 
down. 

 

Replace the battery compartment lid and turn it 
clockwise. 

 

 

Warning! 

Only use new batteries. 
Do not expose a device containing a battery to direct heat or 
sunlight. For example, do not store it on a radiator. 
Ensure you use the batteries properly and adhere to the safety 
advice on page 5. 

Exchanging the battery 

 

Open the battery compartment cover under the device. 

 

Lever the battery with a fingernail or similar object out of the battery 
compartment. 

 

Insert a new battery into the battery compartment, as described above.
