4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning the output window
If necessary you can clean the output window, using methanol or acetone
(pharmacy) and lens-paper (photo shop). Don’t use other cleaning agents,
you would destroy the antireflective coating of the window.
Fold the lens paper into a strip without touching the edge. Apply methanol
or acetone to the edge and carefully wipe the edge over the window. Make
sure the lens paper is well soaked. Never use dry lens paper, this can lead
to scratches and thus destruction of the window.
If you need to clean the inside, disconnect mains, then carefully remove
the two screws on the window mount. As soon as the screws are removed, the
window is loose - make sure it can’t fall down! Don’t let any debris enter
the device. When mounting the window, carefully apply the screws, and don’t
overturn them.
4.2 Cleaning the fixture
Disconnect mains. Use a soft cloth and a standard cleaning agent. Do not
use water or wet tissues.
