Knee brace for strain relief and
guidance

Note: It is best if you sit on the edge of a chair
or a stool when putting on the brace.

The relief mechanism should
always be in the starting
position, even when it is not
being worn.
Important: The button for this
is located at the white spot.

Open all quick closures on the
front of the brace by lightly
turning them. (Image 1).

Now open the Velcro closures
on the brace.

Bend the affected leg to an
approx. 70 degree angle and slip
the brace over it (image 2).

Pull the brace upwards until the
fabric touches the lower edge of
the kneecap, making sure that
the kneecap is positioned in the
centre of the opening.
The central hinge of the lateral
hinge splints should now be
approximately at the level of the
upper edge of the kneecap
(image 3).

Now close the upper Velcro
closures. Then close the quick
closures from strap 1 to strap 4
(image 4).

Push or pull the relief mechanism
along the scale, either upwards
or downwards. Each level is
confirmed with a snap sound.
The highest level of relief is
attained at level 9.

In order to reduce the pressure,
unlock the mechanism and push
it down the scale. Then activate
it again (image 6).
