Intended purpose
The product is exclusively to be used for the orthotic fitting of the foot
and only on unbroken skin or any wounds have been properly covered.
Indications
•
Post-operative care after ligament reconstruction
•
Conservative treatment after fibular ligament ankle injuries
•
Chronic instabilities of the ankle
Contraindications
None known at present.
Mode of action / wearing instructions
The anatomically shaped rigid shell provides stability and limits the
possibility of rotation. Use of the orthosis results in a moderate pronation
and dorsal flexion of the foot.
Wear the orthosis over socks and with shoes.
Adjusting the splint
•
Choose the correct size.
•
Press the heel firmly against the heel part.
•
Tighten the belt firmly.
•
Cut the foot part to size if necessary.
Care instructions
Hook and loop fasteners should be closed for washing.
•
Wash the product by hand, preferably using medi clean washing agent.
•
Do not bleach.
•
Leave to dry naturally.
•
Do not iron.
•
Do not dry clean.
Storage instructions
Please keep in a cool, dry place and do not expose it to direct sunlight.
