Verification of Accuracy
Periodically, the scale should be tested to verify the accuracy of its weight measure-
ment. This may be accomplished by using a 10 kg calibration weight, class F or better.
These weights are available from Medela. Use the following instructions for verifying
the scale’s accuracy.
1.
Switch the lb

oz / off / kg switch to kg.
2.
Push the Start/Zero Button.
3.
Within 60 seconds, gently place a 10 kg weight on the Baby Basket.
4.
If the scale does not read between 9.96 kg – 10.06 kg, call Medela for return and
repair information.

Battery Indicator
If Lo appears on the Display Panel, replace the batteries with new ones at once.
If the batteries become too low, the Lo indicator will not display. If the scale does
not turn on, replace the batteries to verify if this is the problem.
