Connections
Electric power, gas, and exhaust connections to the instrument are located on the two rear
bulkheads, which are positioned on the rear corners of the mass spectrometer.
The gas and vacuum panel is located on the back of the instrument, closest to the ion
source housing. This panel contains the connections for the curtain gas supply,
Gas 1/Gas 2 supply, source exhaust supply, and source exhaust waste out. See the Gas and
Vacuum Panel figure below.

The interface connection panel contains the connections for the main power connection
(207-242 VAC at 50/60 Hz), the Analyst computer interface, an RS-232 interface, and an
Auxiliary I/O port; see the Interface Connection Panel figure below.
