STEP 3 

Make sure the tow pin is seated inside the universal and the tow pin top is sticking out of the locking 

mechanism (see below). Press the button (1) to release the locking mechanism there will be an audible 

locking noise at which point the mechanism will return to the initial position as shown in step 1. Verify the 

pin is correctly through the mechanism and assemble the cap. If the cap will not fit check the locking 

mechanism is in the correct locked orientation.
