NOTE:
Do the collective controls system rig­
ging (lower) and cyclic trim actuator rigging
(longitudinal and lateral) before you do this
procedure.
(1). Prepare the rotor flight controls system
for rigging.
(2). Remove swashplate forward fairing
(T155) (ref. Section 06-00-00).
(3). Remove the collective/longitudinal FOD
cover.
(4). Disconnect the bottom end of all pitch
links.
(a). Turn pitch links up.
(5). Temporarily attach pitch links to rotor
head (ref. Section 62-30-00).
Moving Flight Controls
(6). Apply external electrical power with
ground power unit (T2002) (ref.
CSP-900RMM-3).
(7). Apply 1000 psig (6894.8 kPa) hydrau­
lic pressure to Hydraulic System
Number 1 with the hydraulic mule
(T2001) (ref. Section 29-00-00).
(8). Pull collective friction release switch
(23).
(a). Lower collective stick (22) to full
down position.
(b). Release the switch.
(9). Install 2.5 in. long rig pin (T501-2) (21)
through bellcrank (19) and bracket (20).
(10). Use trim switch (25) to move the cyclic
stick (24) to the full left position.
(11). Disconnect control rod (4).
(12). Lift servoactuator input lever (11) until
servoactuator piston (15) is fully in the
extended direction.
(13). Put inclinometer (T203) against static
mast (1) at position (10).
(a). Make a record of the angle
(14). Put inclinometer (T203) on top of
lateral mixer bellcrank (2) at position
(9).
(a). Make a record of the angle
(15). Measure the angle between static mast
(1) and the top of lateral mixer bell­
crank (2).
(a). The angle must be 96.5 to 96.9
degrees .
All servoactuator piston rod end adjust­
ments must be made with the piston
away from its internal travel stops.
Servoactuator piston rod end must not be
more than
2.181 inch (55.40 mm) above
top of servoactuator piston.
(16). If necessary, adjust lateral servoactua­
tor piston rod end (18) as follows:
(a). Remove lockwire from nut (17).
(b). Loosen nut (17).
(c). Lower input lever (11) to move
servoactuator piston (15) away from
its internal stop.
(d). Lift lock ring (16) and use the flats at
the top of the piston and carefully
turn servoactuator piston (15).
NOTE:
Turn piston left to lengthen (decrease
angle) or right to shorten (increase angle).
