(2). Aft Tube Section (Corrosion-Resistant
Steel):
(a). Connect pressure line to plenum
chamber pan and engine oil pressure
port fittings, and tighten.
(b). Secure pressure line to left side of
mast support structure and plenum
chamber with attaching hardware
(Ref. view A).
(c). After pressure and leak test, secure
engine compartment access door.
(3). Center Tube Section (Aluminum Alloy
or Corrosion-Resistant Steel):
(a). Connect pressure line to bulkhead
fittings, and tighten.
(b). To prevent chafing, use tape and
activator (CM720) to wrap aluminum
tubing routed past aft corner of mast
support structure to plenum cham
ber. For steel tubing, use plastic
edging grommet.
(c). Secure line at left side of mast
support structure and aft left side of
plenum chamber with attaching
hardware (Ref. view A).
(d). After pressure and leak test, install
left forward air intake fairing and
left aft bulkhead access cover in
cargo compartment.
(e). Service and bleed system (Ref.
Engine Oil Pressure and Torque
Lines Bleeding and Servicing).
9. Autronics EPO Warning Control Unit
Replacement
A. Autronics EPO Warning Control Unit
Removal
(1). Check that all electrical power is OFF.
(2). Slim-Line instrument panels and L/H
command T-Panels:
Remove instrument panel fairings from
instrument console.
(3). Disconnect electrical wiring harness
connector from EPO warning control
unit.
(4). Slim-Line instrument panels and L/H
command T-Panels:
Remove attaching hardware and EPO
warning control unit from instrument
console.
(5). R/H command T-Panels:
Remove attaching hardware and EPO
warning control unit from instrument
panel lower support structure.
B. Autronics EPO Warning Control Unit
Installation
(1). Slim-Line instrument panels and L/H
command T-Panels:
Install replacement EPO warning
control unit to instrument console with
hardware removed in previous above.
(2). R/H command T-Panels:
Install replacement EPO warning
control unit on instrument panel lower
support structure with hardware
removed in above step.
(3). Connect electrical wiring harness
connector to EPO warning control unit.
(4). Slim-Line instrument panels and L/H
command T-Panels:
If removed in prior step, install instru
ment panel fairings to instrument
console.
(5). Turn on electrical power and check that
red ENG OUT warning light flashes.
NOTE:
On 369E helicopters S/N 384 & subs
and 369FF helicopters S/N 076 & subs, the
generator switch does not enable the engine
out warning and audible headset warning.
The horn and audible warnings function
only when the helicopter is airborne and an
engine out condition is sensed by the EPO,
or when the RE-IGN TEST switch is placed
in the GND full up position.
(6). Set generator switch to GEN and listen
to audible warning horn for audible
``beeping'' and headset for audible tone
warning signal. When flashing and
audio warning signals are present, turn
off switches and power.
