2.8.2 RS232 Connection
In order to ensure an errorless operation, both NMEA0183 ports should be
only connected with NMEA0183 devices. In case RS232 devices are
required to be connected and no dedicated RS-422 to RS232 converter is
available, the connection should be configured as shown in the figures
below. Please note that the wiring is made at user´s own risk, as such
connection might cause damage to the transponder.
